"Intelligent Bay Heart, Creative Future" — Guangzhou Nansha IT Park Delegation Visits MPU
On May 25, 2022, Lin Jin, Executive Secretary-General, and Guo Runlu, Deputy Secretary-General, and a group of four of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Postdoctoral Science and Technology Innovation (Nansha) Public Research Center visited Macao Polytechnic University. Director of the Centre of Artificial Intelligence Driven Drug Discovery Prof. Tong Hoi Yee and Prof. Guo Jingjing et al. gave a warm reception.
At the meeting, Secretary Lin introduced the development and talent policies of Nansha to the teachers and students of MPU, and Secretary Guo introduced the relevant enterprises, institutions and policies in Nansha, and invited MPU teachers and students to Nansha for internship, investigation and exchange. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the docking of talents and projects in the future. Secretary Lin said that the project needs mentioned by Prof. Tong are very relevant to the strategic direction of Nansha's development, and he believes that further promotion can achieve win-win results. Prof. Tong said that MPU is very interested in the project plan proposed by Nansha and looks forward to the opportunity to deepen cooperation to combine potential scientific research achievements with industries and bring people and projects landing in Nansha.
