"Chinese Medicine - Artificial Intelligence" Academic Forum
On May 20, 2023, in order to promote academic exchange and cooperation, the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Driven Drug Discovery (AIDD) invited the team from the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to hold an academic forum entitled "Chinese Medicine - Artificial Intelligence" in Conference Room N47A. The forum was hosted by Associate Professor Li Kefeng of AIDD Centre, and all faculty members and doctoral students of AIDD Centre and representatives of Faculty of Applied Sciences attended the forum.
Firstly, Prof. Wang Yuefei, Vice President of Institute of Chinese Medicine, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Dr. Lam Chan Tong, Associate Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences, Macao Polytechnic University exchanged souvenirs. Prof. Henry Tong, Director of AIDD Centre, introduced the basic situation of the Centre. After that, Prof. Wang from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine gave a lecture. After that, researcher Yang Wenzhi from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine gave a lecture. Teachers and students listened to the lecture and discussed the related issues in depth. Finally, a number of teachers from the Macao Polytechnic University introduced the subject group, and both sides actively discussed and looked forward to further exchanges and cooperation next time.
