Objectives

This programme, which is applicable to non-native speakers of Chinese, aims to cultivate quality professionals, who can speak Chinese, Portuguese and English, with a global vision and cross-cultural competence in response to the needs posed by the development of Macao, Portuguese-speaking countries and the international community. After four years of study, students will be able to make use of three languages to be engaged in such fields as commerce, trading, administrative management, cultural and language education, mass communication and creative industries.

Exchange Opportunity

One-year exchange study in Beijing is available for students.*

* Transportation, accommodation, insurance, living expenses and other expenses incurred during the exchange in Beijing are to be borne by the student. Students enrolled in the programme from the 2022/2023 academic year should pay the accommodation fees of the exchange period. The accommodation will be arranged by the host institution in Beijing. The accommodation fee is charged according to the standard rate of a non-single room for the corresponding academic year of the Macao Polytechnic University, which is subject to adjustments made by MPU.
 

Career Prospects

The graduates may be engaged in fields such as cultural and language education, media communication, administrative management, business trade, and creative industries in Macau, the mainland, or overseas.
