MPI Students Learned about Bai Minority Culture in Yunnan
During 13th to 19th May 2017, sixteen MPI students from the Visual Arts and Design programmes participated in the “Nanzhao Kingdom and Bai Nationality Culture” Exchange Campaign held by Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YNUFE). MPI students learned about the culture of minorities in Yunnan through featured lectures and local visits.
MPI students attended several workshops including tea ceremony, jade carving, Xizhou bao Making and traditional Bai tie dying, etc. YNUFE also arranged for MPI students to enjoy the “Dynamic Yunnan” performance and visit Yunnan Minorities Village, Erhai Wetland Park and Dali Ancient City.
