MPI and University of Aveiro Sign Cooperation Agreement

Macao Polytechnic Institute recently signed a Cooperation Agreement with the University of Aveiro in Portugal to strengthen academic exchange and cooperation in the field of Arts. The agreement covers cooperation in areas such as Music, Design, Communication Sciences and Technology as well as research in Arts. The projects covered by the agreement include student exchanges, student and teacher learning trips, academic research, joint undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and joint conferences, among others. MPI expects the signing of this agreement will strengthen the linkage between the Institute and the higher education system in Portugal, as well as enhance the teaching and research in the creative and cultural industries.

Established in 1973, the University of Aveiro is a renowned public and comprehensive research university in Portugal. The university is well known for its vibrant and innovative approaches, with distinguished academic achievements in various areas including the creative and cultural industries. The university currently has 15,000 students on its undergraduate and graduate programmes.
