The Spring Festival Celebration - MPI Challenge Cup was held on 18 February, co-organised by the MPI Student Affairs Office and MPI Student Union, including seven kinds of activities on the themes of spring festival and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with more than 100 students participating to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Professor Im Sio Kei, President of MPI; Ng Ka Kei, Chairperson of MPI Student Union; and Chau Sin Kwan, the representative of MPI Alumni Association officiated at the Challenge Cup and took part in a traditional eye-dotting ceremony to kick off a ceremonial lion dance. At the ceremony, Professor Im Sio Kei sent season’s greetings and blessings to teachers, students and alumni and those who are from abroad. He mentioned that the challenge game emphasised unity and cooperation, and encouraged all of them to strive to do their best and grasp all the opportunities in this coming year.
