MPU fosters creativity and diverse skillsets among university students via “Creative Talent Development Programme”

Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) launched the “Creative Talent Development Programme” to enrich the learning experience and competitiveness of university students. The Programme aimed to cultivate students with innovative thinking who aspire to enter the creative industries. It included creative training courses in public speaking, event planning, graphic and text production, videography and editing, and more.

The programme invited local professional speakers, event planners and outstanding alumni as trainers. They shared special techniques, real-world cases and cutting-edge industry information, enabling students to get a taste of real-world execution and to inspire creativity.    

Students who completed the training noted that the programme offered a diverse range of courses that were both attractive and practical. Apart from knowledge itself, the programme put significant effort in training up students’ hands-on skills within a short period of time. Some student also expressed hope that the programme would continue, allowing students from various majors to experience the joy of creative planning.
