    All public departments and entities will resume normal operations and services from 2nd August 2022 onwards according to the guideline issued by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau on 1st August 2022.

    Staff members may go out during office hours to conduct the nucleic acid test on a staggered schedule with the consent of their unit heads. In addition, the time spent going to and from the nucleic acid test stations is exempted from working hours and is not required to compensate for it.

    All staff members should also comply with the epidemic prevention guidelines regarding public departments and facilities issued by the Health Bureau.

  • Work Arrangement Guidelines of MPU from 30 July to 1 August 2022 [Post: 29/07/2022]

    Due to the current COVID-19 epidemic prevention requirement, in order to reduce staff movement so as to block the virus transmission, public departments are required to follow the guidelines issued by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau to maintain merely limited public services from 30 July to 1 August 2022 to minimize staff gathering to a great extent and reduce the risk of virus transmission.

    During the above period, any staff members with a yellow health code should avoid returning to the University for work, while those staff members who are assigned and informed by their superiors to provide support services should follow the work arrangement or work from home.

    Staff members returning to work in the University or other locations must perform daily rapid antigen detection before going to work and undergo nucleic acid test in accordance with the instructions of the Health Bureau.

    Staff members may go out during office hours, with the consent of their unit heads, to conduct the nucleic acid test in staggered schedule. In addition, the time spent going to and from nucleic acid test stations is exempted from working hours and is not required to compensate for it.

    During the above period, MPU staff members who are not required to go back to work in the University or other working locations should fulfill their obligations and follow the Dispatch No. 137/2022 of the Chief Executive strictly to stay home and should wear surgical masks or above standards when going out for reasons stated in the above Dispatch. To fully cope with the epidemic prevention policy of the MSAR Government, please take health protection measures, to protect oneself, family members and other citizens from infection.

    In addition to the above measures, all staff members should also comply with the "Measures to reduce the risk of transmission in workplaces during the consolidation period of local epidemic" issued by the Health Bureau.

To fully cope with the epidemic prevention policy of the MSAR Government, please take health protection measures, to protect oneself, family members and other citizens from infection.

    In addition to the above measures, all staff members should also comply with the "Measures to reduce the risk of transmission in workplaces during the consolidation period of local epidemic" issued by the Health Bureau.

    To control the transmission of the COVID-19 epidemic, according to Dispatch No. 120/2022 of the Chief Executive, all public departments will remain closed from 18 July to 22 July, except for those who need to provide urgent and indispensable services to the public.

    The aforesaid provision shall not preclude the leaders of public departments from requiring civil servants to attend to duty or provide services of their own, for the support of epidemic prevention or for other reasons of public interest, or requiring available staff members to work from home. In addition, subject to the relevant provisions of the law, the leaders of public departments should properly address the needs of the public for urgent services, as well as to adopt strict epidemic control measures, in accordance with the guidelines from the Health Bureau, to ensure the provision of urgent and indispensable services, as well as the safety of staff members.

    During the above period, for MPU staff members who are being assigned and informed by their superiors to provide support services, they should work in accordance with the instructions from their superiors, including to work from home.

    During the above period, MPU staff members should fulfil their obligations and follow the Dispatch No. 119/2022 of the Chief Executive strictly to stay home, and should wear a face mask when going out for urgent and necessary situations such as purchasing basic necessities. To fully cope with the epidemic prevention policy of the MSAR Government, all should wear face masks of KN95 or above standards. Please take health protection measures, to protect oneself, family members and other citizens from infection.

  • Government Information: Public departments provide emergency services only from 18 to 22 July [Post: 17/07/2022]

  • Government Information: The eleventh to thirteenth mass nucleic acid tests will be conducted [Post: 16/07/2022]

    To control the transmission of the epidemic, according to Dispatch No. 116/2022 of the Chief Executive, all public departments will be closed from 11 July to 17 July, except for those who need to provide urgent and indispensable services to the public.

    The aforesaid provision shall not preclude the leaders of public departments from requiring civil servants to attend to duty or provide services of their own, for the support of epidemic prevention or for other reasons of public interest, or requiring available staff members to work from home. The leaders of public departments shall arrange urgent services and epidemic prevention work appropriately, as well as to adopt strict epidemic control measures, in accordance with the guidelines from the Health Bureau, to ensure the provision of urgent and indispensable services, as well as the safety of staff members.

    During the above period, for MPU staff members who are being assigned and informed by their superiors to provide support services, they should work in accordance with the instructions from their superiors, including to work from home.

    During the above period, MPU staff members should fulfil their obligations and follow the Dispatch No. 115/2022 of the Chief Executive strictly to stay home, and should wear a mask when going out for urgent and necessary situations such as purchasing basic necessities. To fully cope with the epidemic prevention policy of the MSAR Government, adults should wear face masks of KN95 or above standards, whereas non-adults could wear face masks of other standards when it is not application. Please take health protection measures, to protect oneself, family members and other citizens from infection.

  • Government Information: Public departments providing non-emergency services will be closed again next week [Post: 09/07/2022]

Due to the current Novel Coronavirus epidemic prevention requirement, in order to reduce the staff movement to block the spread of the virus, public departments are required to maintain only limited public services from 4 to 8 July 2022 in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau, in order to minimize staff gathering to a great extend and reduce the risk of virus transmission.

During the above period, all staff members and any staff members with a yellow health code should work from home, except for those staff members who are assigned and informed by their superiors to provide support services.

During the above period, those MPU staff members who are not required to resume work in the University, should fulfill their obligations and cooperate fully with the epidemic prevention measures of the MSAR Government. Therefore, except for urgent and necessary situations such as purchasing basic necessities, those staff should stay home and avoid going out in order to reduce social movement in the community and the risk of the spread of disease. In addition, all staff members of MPU should carry out nucleic acid tests or rapid antigen detection according to the requirements of the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, and take health protection measures to protect themselves, their family members and other citizens from infection.
